This year for our Advent gift drive Doxa has an opportunity to forge a new and hopefully lasting relationship with the Bellevue Boys & Girls Club by providing gifts to children in low-income or at-risk home life situations. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue’s annual Adopt-a-Family program matches community members with deserving families for the holiday season.
Doxa family, not only will we be participating in the Adopt-a-Family drive, but they will use our building to host the drive. People from all over the community will be dropping and picking up their wishlist gifts at Doxa - what a privilege to get serve the community in this way!
There are two clubs for Boys & Girls Clubs in Bellevue. The B&G Club mission is to inspire & enable all young people, especially the vulnerable and marginalized, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. They do this through:
BGCB is operating 6 Clubs in Bellevue, including 2 Clubs in King County Housing Authority Properties, and 1 Teen Center.
454 programs are offered each year including preschool, after-school care, athletics, and camps. Currently, we are running full-day virtual learning support and after school care, while schools are closed for in-person learning.

• Nearly 140,000 meals and snacks served annually.
• 63% of members identify as persons of color.
