Equipped To Be An Equipper!
Hello Doxa family!
I trust the Spirit has been at work in your heart this week as you have pondered, prayed through, and discussed what it looks like to steward your time, talents, and treasures. I know for me personally, I am both sobered and blessed that God would entrust me with his “stuff.” As we move forward as a family, I am eager to see the fruit of us continually asking how we can best use what we’ve been given (time, resources, and money) for Jesus’ mission and glory. (If you missed last week’s teaching, watch it here.)
One thing I get excited about sharing is the way God multiplies his blessings in and through us. I’ve come to know that what God does to us, he wants to do through us. He has given gifts to the body in order to develop every member to both be a gift and use their gifts to build each other up. The goal being that we all become mature in every way and that each of us is a participating equipper in the body.
I hope you will join us on Sunday as we talk about equipping every member for ministry through the stewardship of our gifts. If you would like to prepare for Sunday’s teaching, read: Ephesians 4:1-16; Romans 12:1-8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31; 14:26-40.
See you on Sunday!
