Reconciled For A Purpose
Hello Doxa Family!
How about that sun! Praise God for his graciousness to us in the form of some much needed sunshine. I pray you’ve had a fruitful week of loving and serving one another out of what you’ve been given by our good Father.
Unity, Love, and Restoration:
Last Sunday, I talked through how we are equipped so that we can serve and equip. (Watch it here.) This week in our Foundations series, I will be turning the focus to relationships within the church body. As co-ministers with Jesus we are called to be conduits of the reconciliation, redemption, and restoration he offers. We have been reconciled with God for the purpose of reconciliation with one another. What does that look like in the course of our everyday lives? How are we to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of our calling? How and why should we speak truthfully to one another? I hope you will join me Sunday as together we walk through what it looks like to be a relationally healthy church. If you’d like to spend some time in the Word in preparation for the message, please read: Ephesians 4:1-6; 25-32; Matthew 18:15-20; and Galatians 6:1-5.
In the works!
The elders and staff have been hard at work this week getting the website ready to launch and working on some key events we have coming up. We’ll be sharing those details on Sunday.
As I mentioned on Monday, several of you signed up to volunteer at Doxa in various capacities. Over 50 of you – wow! On behalf of the entire Doxa Church Family, THANK YOU! If you didn’t get a chance to fill out the serve card last Sunday, but are still interested in volunteering, email [email protected] or fill out this short form.
See you Sunday!
