Everyday Training

Doxa offers monthly classes geared towards practical learning towards everyday dicipleship.  We call this, "Everyday Training."

Although it is best experienced with others in your missional community, it's open to anyone who wants to grow in their discipleship. Upcoming dates for Everyday Training as well as a collection of resources from Doxa's Everyday Training classes are below.

In our last DNA training, we unpacked the role of humility and how to practice that in your DNA. The next building block for your DNA explores God's design for pursuing each other and what you're listening for as you engage with one another.

  • June 23: DNA - Act
  • Aug 18: Spiritual Warfare/Prayer
  • Sept 15: Self Awareness - Gifts/APEST
  • Oct 20: Self Awareness - Enneagram
  • Nov 17: Giving/Financial Health

DNA: Nurture

This course teaches you how to:

Sometimes difficult conversations about sin and struggle make us feel uncomfortable. How do we press into that discomfort instead of running away from it? In this month’s training, we unpack the “Nurture” component of DNA. When we sin, we find ourselves in a gap between God's truth and our reality. In DNA, we have an opportunity to reveal these "gaps" and help each other replace our unbelief with God's truth.

DNA: Discover

This course teaches you how to:

The most effective place to study the Bible for personal transformation at Doxa is within a DNA group (not an MC). The group is small enough to insure everyone fully participates and experiences personal transformation. We hope to see personal transformation taking place in DNA groups, and the working out of personal transformation in the life of a Missional Community, where we grow in loving, serving and bearing witness to Jesus’ transforming work in our lives.

Conversational Evangelsim

This course teaches you how to:

We know and believe that the Gospel is the good news about the power of God for salvation to all who believe in Jesus (Romans 1:16). There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We believe that we will all stand before the judgement seat of Christ and give an account for all we’ve done (2 Corinthians 5:10). And all who have trusted in Jesus will not have their sins counted against them (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). For this reason, we are eager to see all people come to know the love of God as we share the truths about Jesus with our family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.
