Week Seventeen: The Unexpected Faith
Passage: Mark 9:14-32
Summary:
The disciples lack the faith to cast out an unclean spirit. The father of the boy with the spirit lacks faith as well – he believes but admits his unbelief, to which he asks Jesus to help him. Jesus later explains to his disciples the key to this is prayer. Prayer is an acknowledgement of our great need for God – even in our unbelief. Do we believe enough to cry out for help, even for our unbelief? We will find that Jesus can answer and grant us greater faith as a result.
Believe in Jesus for your unbelief
